Standards, whether government-mandated or voluntary, are vital to the safety equipment marketplace.  ISEA is a leader in the development of consensus performance standards, and works closely with government agencies in preparation of government standards for design, use and approval of safety equipment.

This section describes ISEA's standardization program, lists current safety equipment standards, and provides links to other standardization organizations and agencies.
