| PPE Standards in China -- 中国PPE标准 | ||||

In November 2006, ISEA participated in two standards related
events in China. The first was the annual meeting of China's TC112, the
technical committee for personal protective equipment 
standardization organized under the Standardization Administration of China.
ISEA President Dan Shipp represented ISEA at the meeting in Guangzhou, and made
a presentation on US Safety Equipment Standards and Certification.
Two days later, Shipp was a speaker at the 2006 China HSE Summit in Beijing, organized by the China Academy of Safety Science and Technology and Global Integrated Solutions (GIS). ISEA was a participating sponsor of this event, which drew an audience of health and safety directors from industries across China. Other speakers included government officials, corporate safety leaders and health and safety experts from China, the US, the UK and Australia.
