Named "Silver Medal Golf Resort" by Golf Magazine, Amelia Island Plantation boasts 72 championship holes. ISEA's golf tournaments will use the Oak Marsh and Ocean Links courses, designed by Pete Dye and Bobby Weed.

Scramble Golf Tournament
Oak Marsh Course
Monday, April 28
1:00 pm - $195
This tournament is for golfers of all skill levels, with a focus on fun. Greens fees, cart, lunch and refreshments are included, and prizes are awarded to the top teams.

The Oak Marsh was designed by renowned golf course architect Pete Dye. The course meanders through Amelia Island’s salt marshes and is lined with moss-draped oak trees. This par 72, 6500 yard course has been included in Golf Digest’s “Top 75 Resort Courses in the U.S.” The course also has been listed as one of “Florida’s 50 Finest Courses.”

Handicap Golf Tournament
Ocean Links Course
Tuesday, April 29
1:00 pm - $195
This tournament provides more accomplished golfers an opportunity to test their skills. Greens fees, cart, lunch and refreshments are included. Prizes will be awarded for low gross (the O'Donnell Trophy) and low net scores, closest to the pin and longest drive.

Don’t be deceived by this 6300 yard, par 70 course: the narrow fairways, unpredictable ocean winds and the island green on the concluding hole add up to a fun, challenging afternoon of golf.

ISEA's golf tournaments are sponsored by Industrial Safety and Hygiene News.

Round-Robin Tennis Tournament
Tuesday, April 29
2:00 - 4:00 pm - $75
Amelia Island Plantation is home to the Women's Tennis Association Bausch & Lomb Championships. Navratilova, Sampras, Graf and Agassi have played on the courts here. You can play on the same courts, too. Amelia’s clay courts are shaded by oak trees. The fee includes: racquet rental, tennis balls, court time and a staff professional to call those line shots!

Sport Fishing Tournament
Tuesday, April 29
12:30 - 5:30 pm - $235
Grouper, red snapper, tarpon and kingfish are all biting right now. The boats are having one of their best seasons, and landing lots of fish. They can’t promise a prize-winner every time, but you will catch at least some fresh air, and maybe more. Crew members bait the hooks and set the lines. All you have to do is reel ’em in. Transportation, lunch, drinks and snacks are provided.

Historic Amelia Island Tour
Monday, April 28
1:30 - 5:30 pm - $40
Did you know that Amelia Island is the only area in the US to have lived under eight flags?  That Fernandina Beach, the island's "downtown," is on the National Register of Historic Places because of its Victorian architecture, and is also considered the birthplace of the modern shrimping industry?  Let a professional guide tell you the tale of the island’s 400-year history.  Our guide will take you through two historic homes and two historic churches. The tour allows an hour-and-a-half to shop and see sights on your own.
